Slide Blocks is a free browser puzzle where you drag chunky, colorful pieces from a tray of three onto an 8×8 board. Fill any complete row or column and it bursts away in a shower of sparks, opening space for your next move. There's no clock and nothing falls on its own — every point comes from where you choose to slide the next piece. Easy enough for a five-minute break, deep enough that combo chasers will keep coming back for a new best score.
You always hold three pieces at once — lines, squares, corners and crosses. All three are visible from the start, so you can plan the whole trio before touching anything.
As you hover, a ghost preview shows exactly where the piece will land, and any line it would complete lights up white. Drop it anywhere it fits.
The moment a row or column is completely full it clears with a satisfying burst. Finishing a row and a column with the same piece clears both at once for a much bigger reward.
A fresh trio only arrives after all three pieces are placed. Placing order matters — sometimes the small piece has to go first so the big one still has room.
The round ends when none of your remaining pieces fit anywhere. A red glow warns you when space is running out — that's your cue to clear something, fast.
